What Is The Index Portfolio?
I receive end-of-day data and analyze over 80 global market indices daily. Backtesting of my TrendSensor system over these indices shows some markets perform better than others with this system, and the Index Portfolio is simply a collection of the best-performing indices using the TrendSensor system.
The key measures I used in selecting this portfolio are highlighted in the Performance Reports you can view by clicking on the "P" beside each Index or ETF in the charts list further down the panel on the right of this page.

How The TrendSensor Trading Signals Look When Applied To Market Indices:
Take a look at the S&P 500 Index chart below (click on it to view a larger version):
The buy (green) and sell (yellow) arrows are clearly marked on the upper portion of this chart, and following the TrendSensor system is simply a matter of following those trading signals and applying a trailing stop process.
The next three narrow horizontal sections are technical analysis and indicators I have developed and use to complete the picture provided by the signals. Sometimes I use this information to fine-tune entry timing.

Scroll down until you see "Start here" in the table below, and click the "P" next to SPX (S&P 500). A page will open showing a detailed performance review for the TrendSensor trading signal system applied to the S&P 500 Index.
The TrendSensor Premium Portfolio consists of the best performing members of the Forex and Index Portfolios. The table below lists the members of the Index Portfolio (highlighted in light yellow) and shows which are also members of the Premium Portfolio (orange ticks or checks). The markets not highlighted are ones that came close to qualifying for the Index Portfolio, and are included as members of the relevant regional portfolio, but not in the Index Portfolio.
The Regional Portfolios are designed to suit clients interested in trading markets mainly within their region. For example, clients based in Europe will often trade European markets, plus a major US Index or two (DJI, S&P 500 etc).

Now I've signed up for lots of free trials over the years, and one consistent thing I've found is that they NEVER remind you when your trial is about to end and charges are about to begin. I guess they hope you'll forget to do anything and not notice the charges.
I think that is unacceptable, and provided you complete the full
sign-up process you'll receive a reminder near the end of your trial that you only have a few days of your free trial left. Then you can decide on the merits of what you've seen so far.
So let's review what is included in the 1 month trial:
- Free trading signals (usually 0 - 4 signals a week) for stock market Indexes from around the globe - delivered by email and containing links to the detailed trading signals on the Collective2 site. Collective2 is the trading signal management service I use for my trading signals.
Collective2 (C2) also acts as a trusted, independent auditor of trading systems. System developers -- that is, the people that create trading systems -- must submit their trades through Collective2 in order to have a track record verified by them. In other words, there is no way I can manipulate my trading record on C2 in order to present a rosier picture. - Daily updates for active trades includes entry level, target exit, daily trailing stop level, and any relevant comments.
- Near day 27 you'll receive a reminder that your free trial is about to end, and exactly what to do to cancel it before you're charged the monthly fee.
- You have the option of receiving free SMS text messages to your mobile phone whenever I post a trading signal update that requires any action (eg: buy, sell, change trailing stop etc). That way you can action trades within minutes of the signal being posted. There's no charge for this service, which covers the full 1 month trial. That's because I want you to get the full experience of being a subscriber, even though providing this service is a cost to me.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You will be automatically charged once your 1 month trial is complete (if you haven’t canceled - see below). You need to enter your credit card details during registration with Collective2 Corporation, but it will not be charged until the 1 month trial is complete. Your card details are held by Collective2 and are not available to TrendSensor.
- You will receive a reminder near day 27 that your free trial period is finishing soon. This reminder will contain all the details on how to cancel before your card is charged. Instructions on canceling are also on this page.

Other things that annoy me with many free trials are the difficulties in finding what the ongoing price is once the trial is over, and how to cancel your subscription.
With TrendSensor you get all this emailed to you near day 27 of your 1 month trial. And it's all right here too: to view before you subscribe - and in case you lose that email!
- For the TrendSensor Index Signal Service the ongoing cost is just $58 USD per month. But only if the trading signals are profitable! If they're not, you don't get charged a bean: that just seems fair to me*.
- The option of text messaging signal alerts to your mobile phone within minutes of them being posted is free.
* How it works: Collective2 independently track signal performance using live data. A month is based on the monthly anniversary of your sign-up date. If the system wasn't profitable during that period you're not charged by Collective2. For new subscribers that means there is no charge for the first month of signals. The first charge will be immediately after the end of one month from the date of your sign-up, and only if the system was profitable.
I don't offer a discounted 12 month payment option because:
- This is already as cheap as I can make it!
- I don't want your 12 month payment if you're not happy after 7 months! This way you can pay a low monthly cost and cancel whenever you like. That's how it should be. Since the TrendSensor Trading System is a longer-term trading strategy I'd like to think you'd give it 6 or 7 months before deciding if it suits you - but I'm not going to force that on you.
