About TrendSensor MarketBrief:
MarketBrief is my market blog, where I post articles, comments, analysis and trading signals. These cover global market indices, some USA sector indices, global spot forex, and spot gold and silver (vs USD). The TrendSensor trading system is a long-term trend-following system that aims to catch big moves early, and my trading signals, analysis and articles reflect this longer time-frame perspective. To read more about the TrendSensor trading system, click on the TrendSensor tab at the top of this page.
MarketBrief will be of particular interest to longer-term traders, and swing traders. Day traders may as well stop reading here!
Trading signals are only visible to signal subscribers who have registered. Go to the Login/out page, click on Login, then click the Register link.
Once I’ve confirmed that you’re a signal subscriber I’ll give you access rights and email a confirmation to you.
There’s also a number of other places that may be of interest:
- You can receive all the articles, analysis, comments and trading signals by email - or just those for the market of interest to you.Click on the “Delivered To Your Doorstep” tab at the top of the page, or just follow this link: Get Market Updates By Email.
- You can receive all the above, except trading signals, by RSS feed - just click on the RSS link near the top right of each page, just above the search box. Or follow this link: Get Market Feeds Of Every Flavor. There you’ll find an easy, geek-free explanation on how to get started with RSS.
- Automatically updated daily market charts are available in several places:
- USA Market Indices and some Sectors
- Market Indices for other Markets around the globe
- Global Spot Forex
- Precious Metals (spot Gold and Silver)
- The Magnificent Seven - 7 markets I identified back in March 2006 as being in potential bubble formations: these were Indonesia, India, Austria, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina. Having these charts automatically updated in one location helps me keep track of how they’re progressing. You can still read the original March 2006 article right here at MarketBrief: it’s called “Roaming The Globe In Search Of Trouble“.
- I’m just heading off for a mo’ ….OK I’m back. I’ve just checked my news feed for global stock markets - right now there are articles between 5 minutes and 22 minutes old from USA, UK, India, Malaysia, and Poland. You can just click the “News” tab at the top of the page to see the very latest from around the world. Cool eh? And of course you can have that delivered personally, still warmer than home-delivered pizza, straight to your mailbox.
- Oops, I’m off again ….Woosh! And I’m back. This time I’ve checked up on my global forex news feed - here I find forex news 32 minutes to 4 hours young, still finding its way out into the big wide world and originating from India, Spain, USA, South Africa, and the UK. Want that delivered daily? No problem. Just enter your email at the top of the page. To get there in future, click on the News tab, then the forex news link at the top of the News page. Or click on “Forex News” at the bottom of the “Pages” section in the right-hand navigation column on each page.
- If you’re interested in learning more about trading long-term trends be sure to check out the “Trading Nuggets” link in the “MarketBrief Topics” section of the right-hand navigation bar.
Well, I hope you enjoy MarketBrief - look around and see what you find. If you register (see instructions above) you can even leave comments on articles and other posts. Or use the Contact tab to send me feedback.
