Would plain black flats look okay with a lace dress?
I recently bought a black lace dress with long sleeves for homecoming. It was made for a pair of gorgeous heels. Unfortunately, my mother says I am not allowed to wear heels to homecoming because my date is only 5'2". Because of this, I need a pair of simple, classic shoes to go with my dress. My options are currently between black ballet flats or a pair of flat sandals. Which would look better? Also - how ridiculous would the dress look with flats?
Personally i would go with the sandels but in the end its your choice. good luck
