Where can i find a blue print with dimensions?
for one of my classes i need to make a 3-d model some something. I can't find any 2-d blueprints with dimensions on them. where can i find a blue print with dimentions? anything will do.
If your 3D model is supposed to be a building then try looking at an architectural drafting book. If it is an object such as a machined object then look for a mechanical or basic drafting book.
Your best bet for finding architectural plans with dimensions and elevation views is in a home plan book. These can be bought at stores such as walmart. These books have loads of plans to pick from. Some of the plans do not have dimensions of the walls, but they do state the size of the rooms. For example, 12'X14'.
Engineering Graphics, Eight Edition is a good source for machined objects.
Architectural Drafting and Design, Fourth Edition is a great resource for architectural plans.
