Question about mailing a letter?
I want to mail a letter, 3 pictures, and a little heart locket from tennessee to new jersey. I put all of this in a regular envelope, and it all fits fine and im not worried about the locket getting damaged (its not the necklace, just the locket part). Can I mail this in a regular envelope? should i use two stamps? I already have the letter ready to go and i dont want to deal with buying the bubble wrap bigger envelopes and such. its just in a regular envelope? can i do that?
they make bubble wrap envalopes that are roughly the same size as a regular envalope. it costs a little extra but it is worth it if it means your stuff will get there just that little bit safer. they sell them at office supply stores.
my rule of thumb with stamps is if i am ever in doubt, i always put one more stamp on than i think i need, and i have never had anything come back to me lacking postage
