does anyone know about Persian cats/kittens in Japan?? popularity, popular colours, prices, show information.?
I am currently breeding in the UK, but I might be relocating to Japan later this year, and want to take my cats with me. But I know NOTHING about the persian world in Japan and have been struggling to find out as I can't read most Japanese websites, and the breeders I have emailed so far have replied back in Hiragana, which my computer can't display!!
If anyone knows anything, I wanted to know about the following things:
1) what colours and patterns are popular in Japan? (I specialise in Chocolates, Lilacs and Colourpoints/Himalayans)
2) What looks are popular in the Japanese show ring?
3) How much do pet, breed and show kittens all sell for in Japan? (I need a figure in Yen, not just a conversion of what prices are like here, but the actual figures)
4) How popular are Persian cats in Japan?
can't think of the other things now, but if anyone knows ANYTHING, I would be sooooo grateful! Or if you know a Japanese persian/other breed breeder who could help me. THANKS!
