how do i style my hair with big sexy full curls?

i went and got a 1 1/2 in curling iron and tried to get the style i was looking for but kinda struggled at it. any tips? please let me know. i have pretty long hair about half to three quarters down my back and its pretty thick

By the sound of the length of your hair this is definately a roller do. So, shampoo, have a good towel dry and wind in some1&1/2 in plastic rollers (having used a fixing spray for each strand). Secure with pins or clips and allow to dry. With the length of your hair you'll probably need to use a dryer (you can get a soft hood) you dont have to sit under the old stand dryers!) When your dry allow the rollers to cool, remove 1 by 1 and finger out your curls fixing with spray.... let me know how it goes
