What length veil do you think would look best with a mermaid dress with a long train?

I am second guessing the veil I bought so I want some opinions. It is a mostly plain (just a tiny bit of beading) strapless mermaid gown with a pretty long train. Not absurdly long, somewhere between a chapel and cathedral. What length veil would you pick? I defiantly want to wear one.

it really goes on how formal you want the look. a cathedral is a very formal look and if you don't have a lot of details on the back of the dress would be pretty,

a finger tip/ waltz would also be nice as it doesn't take away from the long train of the dress but is long enough it add's elegance.

the other massive deciding factor is what length you can handle carting around during the wedding. if you are wearing your hair up you have an anchor point to hold the veil but a chapel or cathedral because of their length add that much more pressure on your head and i know alot of brides that by the end of the ceremony want to rip their veils out because of how heavy they are.

a finger tip or elbow length isn't going to add as much weight to your head.
