whtat color would you get if you mixed a black and tan female with a black male german sheperd?

I am going to buy a gsd puppy and the father is akc/all black and the mother is black and tan dome of the pups are black and tan now but I want to be sure they stay that way.

I could tell you the colour genetics of my breed (Great Danes), and the probabilities of various litter colours between two parents, but it's obviously different for GSD's. I would highly recommend an Internet search for things like "GSD"+"colour/color"+"genetics" and see if you can find a scientifically-accurate answer.

Remember that black-tan/bi-colour/two tone GSD's look darker at birth than they will as adults. Some even look like they may be all-black, but lighten with maturity.
