My wedding gown shrunk, how do I stretch it?
I bought my wedding gown from a designer sample sale. Well it was dingy so I had it cleaned. My wedding is in 2 months and the dress is pretty tight and bunches in the middle. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to safely stretch the dress?
You probably can't stretch it without the risk of tearing the fabric or pulling out the stitching. Your best bet is to take it to a dress shop and have it professionally tailored to fit you. If it only shrunk a little there should be enough fabric left to make the dress slightly bigger.
