Would a 12-year-old NHL jersey be considered vintage?

With what jpilson said, this is a blank jersey; no name on the back.

Technically, vintage refers to the year made. The Ottawa jersey you displayed the other evening is a 1995 through 1999 vintage. Those were the only years it was made.

So, to me, as a memorabila dealer, I would be selling it as vintage

The worth of the jersey would be determined by
a) authentic vs replica
b) if authentic....is it game used?
c) if authentic....who was it?
d) if authentic....does it have the fight strap
e) if authentic....is it signed

The value would be determined by the person who bought it. What it means to them.

I had a two game worn Wayne Gretzky Edmonton Oiler jerseys, both signed by Wayne, both worn during the 1983-84 Stanley Cup semi-finals (against the North Stars). I sold them a week apart in 1993..........the first went for $1850, and the second went for $4200 because the 2nd guy offered that much, it was worth that much to him
